Known for their steamy performances, they have toured internationally to critical acclaim.
Lady Murasaki
Lady Murasaki is a female-lead band formed in 2011 that is difficult to categorize in it’s music genre. Although the band formed in SLC, the band members’ extremely diverse backgrounds – Amber Taniuchi (lead singer/songwriter) from Hawaii/Japan, Stephen McSweeney (lead guitar) from Ireland, Jonathan Baez (drummer) from Italy/South America, Tyler Morris (bassist) from US but lived in Canada – adds an electrifying dynamic to it’s sound that can span from pop, jazz, blues, rock to lounge. The band has been consistently performing at SLC’s favorite music venues including Bar Deluxe, the Woodshed, Urban Lounge, Garage on Beck and more.
