Matt Codina and the Glyders were formed in the fall of 2011 by frontman Matthew Codina. The self taught Codina began playing guitar and quickly formed a love for the Rock and Roll and Rockabilly styles of the 1950’s. In this style the trio was formed with Matt Codina on the rocking Gretsch Guitar and vocals, Dallon Smith on the upright slap bass and vocals and Jay Tibbitts on thundering drums. Included in their set you will find traditional 1950’s rockabilly and rock and roll, western swing, traditional country, blues and perhaps even some jazz. Driving out hard-swinging danceable rhythms, virtuosic playing and immaculate dress and style, Matt Codina and the Glyders will put on a high energy show that is guaranteed to entertain and excite crowds from the biggest arena to the smallest stage.
